Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education™ is a program created by General Mills to help support education and benefit America’s schools. Since its inception in 1996, America’s schools have earned over $868 million by clipping box tops on hundreds of grocery store products from brands like Cheerios™, Total™, Lucky Charms™, Pillsbury™, Old El Paso™, Green Giant™, Ziploc®, Hefty®, Kleenex® and Scott®.
The Box Top Committee manages Box Top donations by informing the rest of us of deadlines and coordinating their submission.
In 2019, Box Tops for Education launched new mobile app for iOS and Android that will automatically identifies all participating Box Tops products and bonus offers. Scan your receipts to earn ten cents per participating product and send the earnings directly to Brentwood.
The original Box Tops aren't quite obsolete yet. Participating products will still feature a traditional, clippable Box Tops for Education label during the transition. Supporters (that’s you!) can "double dip" by submitting both the digital and physical versions of the Box Top.
In the 2018-2019 school year, clipped tops brought in a whopping $1,163.90 for Brentwood. As the program goes digital in 2019-2020, it’ll be exciting to see how much more we can earn.
